Sam had Memorial Day off work (yay for paid holidays!) so we decided to head up to Boise for the weekend to spend time with Sam's sister Dani and her family. We always have a blast when we visit. We didn't take too many pictures of our day-to-day activities, so I'm pulling a couple of these pictures from Dani's blog!
Dani and I did some crafting for our girls while the boys watched who knows what on TV. It was fun to finally be able to join in on the girly-crafting stuff. Usually I just sit back and watch! We made some binky clips and hair bows.
And of course I used my time wisely, getting some snuggle time in with our sweet niece, Bentley.
Jay started showing his jealous side. Every once in a while he would have a mini tantrum while I was holding Bentley. So occasionally I'd show her to Jay, and give him some hugs and kisses while I was down there to comfort him. He decided it would be a good idea to snuggle with Bentley, too (possibly the cutest thing he's ever done. And how sweet is Bentley??).
We took Jay on the trampoline, and he thought it was pretty awesome (as did the adults. We were cracking up at him).
On Memorial Day we went to the Field of Honor in Eagle City. 600 flags to honor service men and women! It was really neat, and the kids had fun running around.

Or with mom.
But he was good enough to smile for the family picture. Better than nothing!
After grabbing some lunch, we headed home! Thank you for housing and feeding us, Dani and Jefferson! We had fun!
