Aquarium

We took the kids to the aquarium this afternoon. Evie didn't seem very interested in looking at the fish, but Jay was running from tank to tank yelling "wooooow!" and "whooooa! Pish!" (Yes, he says "pish" instead of "fish.") Pretty sure he loved it. Unfortunately he moves too quickly from one place to another, so we didn't get many pictures, and somehow didn't get ANY of him with the otters or penguins in view.

There is a picture of my mom holding me when I was a baby that has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. It is a beautiful picture. I stumbled across it on my computer earlier today and decided, spur of the moment, to recreate it with me holding Evie. It's not perfect, but I think we did a pretty good job. And I think both of these pictures will be forever dear to my heart.
